Lol. Depends. Which death penalty are we talking about here?
Death penalty usually implies you did something horrible enough to deserve death, abortion means your parents killed you because they didn't believe you were worth being born. I would definitely say death penalty, kill me cause I deserve it.
I think this is a most disturbing question.
Hmph.... either die poorly or just not live? I would need to know the scenario of the life before the death penalty.

The pain inflicted in the process of dying and the anticipation of execution are not pleasant. Abortion is a deep ethical challenge, but if scripture is any guide, it's a movement from oblivion to oblivion. Abortion.
